Description

The Mircorasbora is a cute miniature fish that grows to a mere 3 cm reaches. The habitat of this Dwarf danio is located between Indonesia to Malaysiawhere it occurs in standing and slowly flowing waters. Especially in the aquascape he gives a great figure, because he likes to stand between the plants.

Care the sociable comrades in the group from 3 animalsbecause they get their strength from the group size. Its new home should be at least 60 liters and should have a dark substrate have. Shade the aquarium with Floating plants but you can also dim the lighting a bit, so that your animals feel comfortable, because they like to stay in the shade. Also with Roots and caves you can create great shelters, which they like to accept. Offer them soft water with a pH of 6-7.2, and a total hardness between 3 to 12 °dGH.

Because they are very peaceful, you can also keep them together with dwarf shrimps with dwarf shrimpsother small peaceful fish are also suitable, as well as other invertebrates or catfish

The Breeding is possible, but you should feed them very well with fine live food. Random breeding occur almost regularly in densely planted tanks, but you can also breed them specifically with a spawning aquarium, because the parents are strong spawn predators. The young can be raised with infusoria and rotifers.

You can feed your darlings well with very small Granules or also with Live- and Frozen food like Artemia, Cyclops or Daphnia.

Our food recommendation: NatureHolic professional main feed is a professional main feed for all aquarium fish. We supply Hauptfeed in the form of soft granules, which, thanks to its grain size of half a millimeter, can be easily ingested by small to medium-sized fish. The soft consistency resembles the texture of insect larvae in nature and protects the fish mouth from micro-injuries.

Our plant recommendation: Use for planting NatureHolic InVitros. These are free of snails, planarians and other unwanted co-inhabitants. Also free of algae spores, bacteria and fungi.

Expert Tip: We recommend when keeping fish the NatureHolic 3 Phase Liquid. The care set offers the best all-round protection for your animals. It ensures optimal conditions for successful breeding and keeping.
