Rams Wood is a new type of root for the aquarium. This beautifully curved aquarium wood is the woody stem of a liana. The beautifully curved, flowing shape is an adornment to any aquarium setup, and for aquascaping it is just about ideal. The shape is somewhat reminiscent of a curved ram's horn, hence the English name Rams Wood (Rams = ram). Rams Wood is also a great decoration for the terrarium!

With real wood in the aquarium you not only create a great eye-catcher, but you also really do something good for the climate in the aquarium: real wood contains tannins, which can color the water slightly yellowish to brownish and make it a little softer.

Rams Wood can be perfectly planted with moss and small perching plants and then looks even more natural - also in a paludarium, planted terrarium or aquaterrarium you can set great accents with this beautiful aquarium root and integrate it into the layout. It would be well imaginable, for example, to plant the Rams Wood in a wetland terrarium for colorful Geosesarma crabs with orchids or bromeliads that remain small.

Especially catfish or crabs in the aquarium are very grateful for real wood - they need fiber, which aquarium roots provide them. Shrimps and snails also like to stay on wooden roots and graze on the biofilms that form particularly well here.
