from over 3,000 reviews "Origin: | Asia |
C02: | without CO2 fertilization |
Type: | InVitro |
Growth rate: | medium |
Basin placement: | Middle ground |
Light requirements: | high |
Genus: | Rotala |
Stem plant Rotala indica from India does not grow quite as fast as other Rotala species. The habit is not curved, but rather tightly vertical, the shoots are strikingly upright. The shoot tips are reddish under much light, in itself the Indian Rotala is rather green.
Rotala indica is not so long in the trade, it is here rather a rarity and something very special. The rather small remaining Indian Rotala fits perfectly as a group in the middle ground in larger and in the background in smaller aquariums and also in nano aquariums, also great in the Holland aquarium or in aquascapes. The stems grow 15 to 30 cm tall. Rotala indica does not necessarily need CO2 fertilization, but a good supply of nutrients should be provided, and the light should be rather strong.
NatureHolic's InVitro plants are grown without pollutants and without co-inhabitants. Therefore, they are ready for immediate use and can be planted in the aquarium right away. This is also possible in aquariums with shrimps with this Rotala indica. The roots should be freed from the nutrient medium under running water beforehand.
Rotala indica ispropagated via side shoots or shoot tips: Simply cut them off with sharp scissors and stick them into the substrate.
Our recommendation: For a splendid plant growth, we recommend the premium nutrient medium when setting up a new plant NatureHolic GroundBooster
