The Congo fern Bolbitis heudelotii has its home in the west ofAfrica. The water fern is characterized by its beautiful transparent-green leaves. When planting, the rootstock should not be covered by the substrate, otherwise it will rot, so Bolbitis heudelotii should be planted on roots or stones. Until the plant is firmly grown on the substrate, you can fix it with nylon cord. The plant grows 15-40 cm tall and reproduces easily by dividing the horizontal rhizome. The growth is significantly promoted by the addition of CO2. Bolbitis heudelotii develops optimally in soft and slightly acidic water, but can also be cultivated in medium-hard to hard water and grows reliably even then.
