Blue Rili shrimp with their blue body color and red markings on the head and abdomen are a particularly beautiful variety of Neocaridina davidi.
Gestating females preen and fan the 20 to 40 eggs they carry on their webbed legs under their abdomen for about 4 weeks. At the end of this gestation period, fully developed baby shrimp hatch. While egg-bearing females should not be kept alone, they are a good way to quickly increase a starting group of 10 to 15 animals. It also increases the genetic diversity in the group.
When the Blue Rili babies have hatched, it is Natureholic Babyfeed just perfect for feeding the little ones because it provides them with everything they need for healthy growth.
In our main description of the "Blue Rili Shrimp" you will find more information about keeping, feeding and breeding this beautiful bicolor shrimp.
Our feed recommendation: The soft Mainfeed Softpads from NatureHolic are designed for daily feeding. They contain all the nutrients shrimp need for shell development, egg formation and growth. During the production process we pay attention to a gentle and environmentally friendly production, in which the vitamins and other valuable ingredients are preserved as much as possible.
Our plant recommendation: Use for the planting NatureHolic InVitros. These are free of snails, planaria and other unwanted co-inhabitants. Also free of algae spores, bacteria and fungi.
Expert Tip: We recommend for fish keeping the NatureHolic 3 Phase Liquid. The care set offers the best all-round protection for your animals. It ensures optimal conditions for successful breeding and keeping.
