The GRNLO - CraySuite made of noble white ceramic offers up to 6 shrimps, dwarf shrimps, large arm shrimps or small catfish hiding places in the form of caves open at the back and again 6 terraces. Several CraySuites next to each other provide correspondingly seamless additional caves. The open shape of the caves offers more security, because the animals can always retreat if they get unwanted visits from potentially aggressive conspecifics or other aquarium animals.
The edges of the aquarium cave for dwarf crayfish, dwarf shrimp, large-armed shrimp and small catfish are rounded to prevent injuries. The caves measure 1.5 x 3.2 x 6.5 cm each, the whole unit is 11.3 cm long, 6.5 cm high and 6.5 cm wide.
Hiding places are of great importance for shrimp and crayfish breeding, as caves provide retreats for the animals in the aquarium and help them feel more secure. Hiding places are especially important for raising the offspring of shrimp, crayfish or even catfish, as the young animals can hide in the cave and develop better.
In addition, the open-pored structure of the ceramic promotes the settlement of pollutant-degrading bacteria, which ensure good water quality in the aquarium and clean the water.
