Cryptocoryne beckettii "petchii'' from Sri Lanka is a small variant of Cryptocoryne beckettii, which gets beautiful, slightly wavy leaf edges. As with many other Cryptocorynes, leaf color and shape depend very much on the aquarium environment, but it usually grows 10-15 cm tall and 15 cm wide at most. The leaves usually turn a beautiful olive-brown in the aquarium with a purple underside.
