Rotala sp. 'Green' - Tropica pot
Rotala sp. 'green' originates from Asia and is very similar to Rotala rotundifolia. However, unlike the latter, Rotala sp. 'green' does not develop reddish leaves, but retains its fresh light green color even in very strong light. The plant readily produces a large number of side shoots, achieving an attractive bushy, often slightly overhanging habit. However, the stems can grow 40-50 cm long. It needs frequent and vigorous pruning to maintain its lush growth.
In the nursery the leaves of the plant are very rounded, once it grows in water the leaves become elongated.
