The Shrimphouse provides wonderful hiding places for shrimp - the larger animals find shelter below and under the roof, the juveniles in the planting, which consists optionally of Aegagrophila linnaei (short-filament, slow-growing green algae), Riccia (pond liverwort), flame moss, Java moss or Christmas m oss. Even more, this planting provides shrimp and juvenile dwarf crabs with an ideal grazing ground and gives the Nano Shrimphouse a natural look.
Bacteria that break down pollutants find an area to settle in the planting and in the porous surface of the Shrimphouse, thus ensuring good water values.
The Shrimphouse is made of water stable high quality natural raw material and is carefully handcrafted.
