Amano shrimp are our absolute favorite animals in the aquarium. Their highly interesting behavior and their very pretty appearance at second glance make them really great aquarium animals. Due to their size and liveliness, they need a somewhat larger aquarium where they can display their full range of behavior. The mating flights of the males are really worth seeing! Amano shrimp do not reproduce in freshwater, rearing the larvae in brackish water is not easy, but doable. Good breeding reports can be found on the internet. - Garnelio

Description

The animals are supplied by us , it takes place a water change of the bag then the animals are sent directly to them!

Hallo Sven, vielen Dank für deine Frage! 200 von den Kerlchen sind hier eine gute Anzahl.

Question: "Ich habe bei Ihnen eine Gruppe von 10 Amanogarnelen S bestellt und war überrascht wie winzig sie sind. Das Bild passt nicht im Ansatz zur Realität. Sie sind ca 1-1,5 cm lang und ca 1mm breit. Am nächsten Morgen war keine mehr im Becken, alle sind in den Filter gesaugt worden, der extra eine Schutzvorrichtung (1mm breite Durchlässe hat). Zum Glück lebten 7 von ihnen noch. Was kann ich tun, damit sie groß werden können? Vielen Dank für rettende Tipps. Ich habe sie extra in S bestellt, damit ich lange Freude an Ihnen habe, wie es hier auf der Seite steht."

Hallo Ralf, vielen Dank für deine Frage! Bedenke bitte, dass alle Bilder die wir online stellen von ausgewachsenen Tieren sind, damit du auch weißt wie die Tiere langfristig bei dir aussehen. Wachsen tun die Kleinen von ganz alleine. Ein feiner Filterschwamm ist in solchen Notfällen oft eine gute Lösung, er kann einfach mit einer Ziptie temporär am Filter angebracht werden.

Question: "Wann werden die Amanos denn wieder einzeln verfügbar sein? 200 sind etwas viel für 120 Liter... oder gäbe es alternativ-Garnelen in dieser Größe, die empfehlenswert wären?"
