The laboratory grown In Vitro Christmas Moss (Vesicularia montagnei) comes without algae, parasites, snails and pollutants. It does not need to be pre-watered, but can be used immediately in the aquarium. Only the nutrient gel should be rinsed off under running water beforehand.
The triangular regular growth with the beautifully branched shoots has given this moss the name Christmasmoos, because it reminds a bit of fir branches.
Christmas Moss fits super in the foreground and is also suitable for greening roots and stones. It grows firmly after a relatively short time and it also continues to grow on the objects. The cushions soon become large and dense.
You can propagate Christmas Moss very easily, just keep the fronds that are produced during the anyway necessary pruning and tie them up or use super glue to fix them
Shrimp love the sturdy Christmas moss because it provides them with great hiding places and is wonderful to graze for biofilms. In moist terrariums, Christmas moss will even keep out of the water.
Our recommendation: For a splendid plant growth we recommend the use of the NatureHolic fertilizer series and for new plants the Premium Nutrient Substrate NatureHolic GroundBooster.
Expert Tip: With the NatureHolic plant glue glue this plant gently and easily on stones, roots and decoration . Made in Germany, the adhesive does not pollute the water and has no negative impact on the stock.
