Petrified wood colorful vers. Sizes

In the aquarium, the Colorful Petrified Wood is a great eye-catcher, with which authentic and very natural layouts can be created. In places, the stones are black inside, based on the wood structure, the annual rings can often still be seen very well. The multicolored stones are perfect to create impressive eye-catchers in the aquarium.

The earthy tones are due in part to the presence of a wide variety of minerals, so the Petrified Wood can harden the water as it releases them. Petrified wood was once formed under oxygen exclusion and pressure, which often happens after volcanic eruptions. When hot lava floods entire forests, the wood turns into fossils over the years, organic components are replaced by minerals.

On the enlarged surface, especially useful microorganisms find the perfect substrate to settle and multiply. Their pollutant-degrading activities contribute, among other things, to an improvement of the water values in the aquarium. Especially dwarf shrimps like to graze on this biofilm, so you will see your favorites frequently. Greened with small perching plants, which we carry in the store, but also with mosses you give the Petrified Wood the finishing touch.
