The very rough and porous surface of the Black Lava Nano Stones is perfect for cultivating mosses. Rinse the lava stones before first use to remove abrasion caused by transport. While doing so, glue or tie your greenery to their selected Nano Stone and place it in the aquarium. The moss will simply continue to grow over time. You can also attach perching plants such as bucephalandra, java fern or anubias to the black lava and let them continue to grow. This turns each individual stone into a work of art and looks gigantic in the aquarium!

The surface of the black lava stones also offers microorganisms, the so-called good cleaning bacteria, a great place to settle and multiply.
