Rainbow Shrimp/Malaya Shrimp are a distinctly color variable and very pretty form of Caridina babaulti. The egg-bearing females release 50 to 80 very small larvae after about four to six weeks, but they fully develop into juvenile shrimp in freshwater and do not need saltwater.
Attention: Please make the filter baby shrimp proof! Otherwise the really very small larvae will be sucked in.
Egg bearing females in a starting stock of 10 to 15 shrimps are a good way to have more animals quickly and to put the genetic diversity on a broader basis.
Once the larvae have transformed into baby shrimp, this provides them with Babyfeed from Natureholic everything they need to grow up healthy.
Our feed recommendation: The soft Mainfeed Softpads from NatureHolic are designed for daily feeding. They contain all the nutrients shrimp need for shell development, egg formation and growth. During the production we pay attention to a gentle and environmentally friendly production, in which the vitamins and other valuable ingredients are preserved as much as possible.
Our plant recommendation: Use for planting NatureHolic InVitros. These are free of snails, planaria and other unwanted co-inhabitants. Also free of algae spores, bacteria and fungi.
Expert Tip: We recommend for fish keeping the NatureHolic 3 Phase Liquid. The care set offers the best all-round protection for your animals. It ensures optimal conditions for successful breeding and keeping.
