The dwarf needle siamese Eleocharis pusilla is often also called Eleocharis parvula. This sill grows to a maximum height of only 5 cm and is easily recognizable by its slightly curved fine culms. Originally this beautiful grass plant comes from Australia and New Zealand. The Dwarf Needle Sedge looks especially great as a ground cover in the foreground, it is also very suitable for nano aquariums.
Eleocharis parvula multiplies by runners willingly and relatively quickly. The carpets become very dense very soon. To propagate, simply separate a piece of runner with daughter plants and plant it elsewhere.
Before planting the Dwarf Needlewort, remove the culture medium from the roots of this algae-free and parasite-free InVitro grown aquarium plant by carefully rinsing it under running water.
