from over 3,000 reviews "Water values: | soft to hard |
Difficulty: | for beginners |
Propagation: | possible in fresh water |
Origin: | German offspring |
Coloring: | orange |
Orange Rili Sakura shrimp are a variant of the Orange Sakura shrimp or Sunkist shrimp. Their peculiarity is transparent areas, which are arranged slightly differently in each Orange Rili Sakura. Very often the animals have a colored head and abdomen, but there are also other drawing forms. The females of the Orange Rili Sakura shrimp are usually more vividly colored than the males, and they also grow slightly larger, up to 3 cm.
As a variant of the Orange Sakura, the Orange Rili Sakura can be socialized with this color form without problems - wild-colored hybrids, as they can fall in combination with other color forms, are not to be feared here in the offspring. With other shrimp species you can also keep the peaceful group animals together, provided that the requirements for the water values match. An initial stocking of 10 to 20 animals per species is recommended. If you want to keep the Orange Rili Sakura Shrimp with fish, you should make sure that the fish are not predatory and also not too curious and too hectic. With crayfish, freshwater crabs, snails and mussels you can of course also socialize this shrimp.
The Orange Rili Sakura shrimp is very easy to breed, the animals are very eager to reproduce and do not pursue their offspring. After three to four weeks the females release their young. During the gestation period they carry their golden-yellow eggs under their abdomen, where they supply them with oxygen-rich water by fanning them with their webbed legs. The young do not go through larval stages and are immediately independent in the aquarium.
In addition to biofilms and algae deposits, Orange Rili Sakura, as scavengers and omnivores , also eat food scraps or dead plant matter, thus acting as health police in the aquarium. Orange Rili Sakura shrimps, however, also like to eat shrimp food specially adapted to their needs and are especially grateful for special protein food given twice a week. Otherwise, a predominantly plant-based diet is appropriate. Brown autumn leaves are a good permanent food for shrimps. It can be left in the aquarium because it does not negatively affect the water values.
Our food recommendation: The soft Mainfeed Softpads from NatureHolic are designed for daily feeding. They contain all the nutrients shrimp need for shell development, egg formation and growth. During the production process we pay attention to a gentle and environmentally friendly production, in which the vitamins and other valuable ingredients are preserved as much as possible.
Our plant recommendation: Use for the planting NatureHolic InVitros. These are free of snails, planaria and other unwanted co-inhabitants. Also free of algae spores, bacteria and fungi.
Expert Tip: We recommend for fish keeping the NatureHolic 3 Phase Liquid. The care set offers the best all-round protection for your animals. It ensures optimal conditions for successful breeding and keeping.
