Egg bearing females of the Orange Rili Sakura shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) are a great way to build a more genetically diverse strain. The gestation period is three to four weeks total. After that, 20 to 40 baby shrimp hatch. Orange Rili Sakura shrimp are group animals, 10 to 15 shrimp is a good initial stocking.
